Tart Ülikooli teadlaste Asko Uri, Eki Enkvist, Indrek Viil, Darja Lavõgina, Gerda-Johanna Raidaru, Kaido Viht on välja töötanud lahenduse “BISUBSTRATE FLUORESCENT PROBE BINDING TO PROTEIN KINASES”, mis on avaldatud rahvusvahelise patenditaotlusena WO08019696A2

This invention relates to fluorescent probes for identification of compounds binding to protein kinases, for measurement of the affinity of inhibitors of protein kinases, and determination of the active concentration of protein kinases binding to the probe. Bisubstrate-analog character of the probe enables the simultaneous evaluation of inhibitors targeted to both ATP binding site and substrate protein/peptide binding domain of the kinase. High affinity of the probe (Kd = 1.0 nM towards cAMP-dependent protein kinase) affords the application of the enzymes at low concentration which leads to the substantial decrease of the consumption of the kinase.
SKYPE leiutajate Indrek Mandre ja Teet Kõnnussaare lahendus “Synchronising contacts” on avaldatud Ameerika Ühendriikide patenditaotluses US20080046478A1 ja Suurbritannia patenditaotluses GB2440592A.

A method of synchronising the contact information of a group of users of a telephony system between the group of users over a communications network is provided. Each user of the group of users has a user terminal connected to the communications network and executes a client, the client comprising a contact information list. A first user belonging to the group of users selects the contact information of other users in the group from the contact information list and chooses to synchronise the contact information. An invitation message is transmitted from the client executed on the user terminal of the first user to the client executed on the user terminal of each of the other users in the group, the invitation message including an invitee list of users belonging to the group. The invitation message is received at the client of each of the other users in the group. At least one of the other users in the group accepts the invitation message, the step of accepting comprising generating an acceptance message, the acceptance message giving authorisation to the group of users to contact the at least one other user, broadcasting the acceptance message to the group of users and adding the invitee list to the contact information list of the at least one user.

The invention provides a method and device for connecting of electrical and electronic devices into integrated network. Device comprises monofunctional computer, i.e. programmable controller and actuator controller. The device comprises two information channels or networks. Via the inner network takes place the exchange of information between the programmable controller and the actuator controller. Inner network can be: alternate current electricity network, separate low voltage cable network, radio communication network. Public internet, via which are changed system parameters of the programmable controller via WEB interface and secured information on the object for the system operator. Via the internet into the programmable controller are downloaded software updates from the software service server of the operator and software modules of the new applications of the controller of the effective device. Updating of the nodes and controlling means of the device are done in real-time.

The invention provides a method of estimation milk rennet coagulation properties and methods of generating cattle population, producing milk with modified coagulation properties. Milk with modified coagulation properties produced using the methods and cattle population of the invention has average curd firmness (E30) above 34.75 mm and average coagulation time (R) less than 7.2 min. Invention provides a method of generating a cattle population by assessing firmness of curd and coagulation time at least 3 times during the whole lactation and by using Legendre polynomials estimate the level of these traits within lactation.

The invention relates to waste water piping with heat exchanger for bathing installations, for example a shower unit, which consists of basin (9), coarse and fine filters of waste water (11, 13), trap (12), heat exchanger (5), level controller (16) and air by-pass pipe (18), wherein in the waste water pipe (15) exiting the heat exchanger (5) a vertical level controller (16) is used creating an overflow barrier allowing emptying of the heat exchanger. The air by-pass pipe (18) positioned higher than the bottom of basin (9) by-passes heat exchanger (5) and level controller (16) channels air beyond trap (12) into sewage (17) via waste water drain (20).
