Märkamatult käes on märts ja leiutisi aina tuleb.
- Ameerika Ühendriikide patendiamet on avaldanud Leo-Henn Humala leiutise US20080053325 “Method of Manufacturing Pre-Inked Stamps and Stamp Member”
At stamp manufacturing blank printing-plate (3) and inked porous base plate are brought to contact for the moment of creation of printing pattern. Blank stamping member for pre-inked stamp consisting from blank printing plate (3), made from porous thermo-plastic material, printing plate’s case (1) and porous base plate (2), filled by ink. Printing plate is attached to the case, but separated from the inked base plate by air clearance, due to what the printing plate is free from ink up to the creation of printing pattern onto its surface, whereas supporting elements (5) are used, that prevent the said air clearance to collapse spontaneously. When the stamping member is compressed in flash moulding machine, the printing plate is pressed against the inked base plate and become inked.
- Taavet Hinrikus Skype’st koostöös leiutajatega Gareth O’Loughlin, Liz Rice, Max Melchior on välja töötanud lahenduse “Dual-mode device for voice communication”, mis on avaldatud Ameerika Ühendriikide patenditaotluses US20080056208A1 ja Rahvusvahelises patenditaotluses WO2008025987A1.

A device for monitoring cardiac pacing rate having a measuring unit for receiving an electrical signal representing the patient’s cardiac demand, and a computing unit for determining the myocardial energy balance by calculating energy consumed by the myocardium for both an external dynamic work for pumping blood into a vascular system, and an internal static work of the myocardium. Volume and time based measurements are used, and in one embodiment, volumes are estimated and volume ratios are calculated from volume estimates. In another embodiment, volumes are estimated from bioimpedance measurements. A further aspect is a rate adaptive pacemaker, wherein the maximum pacing rate is determined from the myocardial energy balance such that the energy supplied to the myocardium approximately equals the energy consumed by the myocardium for both an external dynamic work for pumping blood into a vascular system and an internal static work of the myocardium.
