Uus ja huvitav blogi Eesti blogimaastikul Estonian Inventor http://www.estinventor.com/, mille autor Eesti leiutaja Leo Siemann lubab tutvustada ja huvilisteni tuua intellektuaalomandi maailma läbi lihtsate sõnade, sh kuidas kaitsta oma intellektuaalomandi, kuidas alustada uut äri jpm.

Meile teadaolevalt seni ainuke omataoline blogi, kus Eesti leiutaja on võtnud nõuks rääkida oma kogemustest, leiutamisest ja leiutiste kaitsmisest.

Kui Leo blogi saab olema esmapilgul rohkem intellektuaalomandi maailma tutvustav, siis kindlasti oleks huvitav lugeda ka leiutajate tegemistest alates sellest, kuidas leiutis sünnib, selle arendamisest ja kaitsmisest ning kommertsialiseerimisest koos kõikide kogemustega, mis võivad ette tulla.

Ootame siia viiteid ka teistest sellistest eestlaste blogidest, kus siis on juttu, kas leiutamisest või laiemalt intellektuaalomandist, samuti ka kus kirjutatakse uutest lahendustest alates nende sünnist kuni turule jõudmiseni, sealhulgas millised probleemid on tekkinud ja kuidas need on lahendatud.

Kellel veel oma blogi pole, aga mõtted liiguvad selles suunas, siis üheks ja ehk lihtsaimaks võimaluseks oma leiutiste ja tegemiste tutvustamiseks on liituda Intellektuaalomandi Võrgustikuga IPNetwork – lisaks blogimisele on igal kasutajal võimalus üles laadida ka pilte ja videosid.

Rahvusvaheline Omandi Õiguste Indeks (IPRI) on rahvusvahelise võrdleva analüüsi tulemusel saadud indeksid, mis mõõdavad nii füüsilise omandi kui intellektuaalomandi õiguste tähtsust ja nende kaitset. Indeks keskendub õiguslikule ja poliitilisele keskkonnale, füüsilise omandi õigustele ning intellektuaalomandiõigustele. 2008.a. tehtud analüüs hõlmas 115 riiki esindades 96% maailma SKP’st.

Uuringutega on hõlmatud ka Eesti, kuigi tööstusomandi kaitse koha pealt on olnud uuringu läbiviijatel millegipärast infosulg.

Maailma Intellektuaalomandi Organisatsiooni (WIPO) värske eelmise aasta rahvusvaheliste patenditaotluste statistika “Global Economic Slowdown Impacts 2008 International Patent Filings” kohaselt on üldine rahvusvaheliste (PCT) patenditaotluste esitamise aktiivsuse tõus aeglustunud.

Eelmiste aastate 9,3% suuruse tõusuga võrreldes on see olnud 2008. aastal vaid 2,4%.

WIPO direktori Mr Francis Gurry sõnade kohaselt, on ka minevikus majandusraskuste aegu olnud märgata patenditaotluste esitamise vähenemist, mis näitab, et majanduskriisid olnud tõukeks innovatsioonile, kuna suuremat rõhku pannakse tõhususe tõstmisele, vähemaga rohkema saavutamisele ja paremate ärimudelite arendamisele ja ära tundmisele.

The European project EPIPAGRI has developed an IPR database in the field of agricultural biotechnology and related industry.

EPIPAGRI is a European project related to IP in the fields of agriculture science. It has developed a database specifically designed for searching and analysing IPR within the field of agricultural biotechnology and related industry (food, feed, fermentation etc). It is different from alternatives in that it not only provides powerful search options but also allows users to directly and instantly contact relevant IPR holders. In addition, technology offers can be included apart of the IP information.

Although the project is nearly finished, one of the partners (INRA) will develop and maintain the EPIPAGRI database.

Any public sector research organisation may freely register with EPIPAGRI and enter its IP/technology to be displayed in the EPIPAGRI database. Parties (whether public or private sector) seeking IP/technology are able to view the EPIPAGRI database and easily contact the person responsible for managing said IP/technology on behalf of the IP owner.

    On IP-Promoter blog you can browse patents in Espacnet patent database according to technology fields.

    The patent search tool is made according to WIPO’s World Patent Report: A Statistical Review (2008) – Annex B: IPC and Technology Concordance Table. For further details about IPC see www.wipo.int/classifications/ipc/en/

    This database contains studies relating to the awareness, attitudes and behavior of different audiences towards intellectual property (IP). The basic search interface allows users to search by category (IP creation, IP crime, and IP use and awareness) and keyword. The advanced search lets users search by country/territory, subject, focus or year.

    Each entry includes the full reference and essential elements (including country/territory, methodology, and main findings) of a study. For studies that are freely available online, a web link is also provided. The studies included in this database come from a variety of sources, including academic journals, consulting firms, national IP offices, and trade associations.
